We perform most of our work in
Nebraska, Wyoming, Colorado, and South Dakota. Some of the projects we have
completed in the recent past include.
Our
most recent project is located in Hooper, Nebraska. It involves an 8 mile
stretch of relocation for highway 275, 77 and all connecting county roads.
This project entailed approximately 2,800,000 cubic yards for excavation and
grading. This project is still in construction.
The
reconstruction of Valentine Airport in Valentine, Nebraska. This was the
first project that was created completely by GPS and Laser Augmentation. The
project included the relocation of 60,000 cubic yards of earth, as well as
relocation of millings.
The reconstruction of the South
Morrill Yard for Union Pacific
Railroad. This project entailed approximately 1,000,000 cubic yards of
excavation for rail expansion, relocating the county road, and building a
300 foot NU Girder Overpass.
We
have worked on several phases of the Heartland Express in western Nebraska,
most recently a ten-mile stretch of new location northwest of Alliance. This
project also included grading for an overpass, and contractor provided
borrow, which we excavated from a valley and built a lake for the landowner.
We
excavated beside the North Platte River to build the north portion of grade
for an overpass in North Platte, NE. This project required three ten inch
and two six inch pumps running continuously for dewatering. The project area
had dense tree growth, and had numerous dump areas that required clearing
before grading could begin.
Over
the years we have worked on approximately fifty miles of U.S. Highway 83,
sixty miles of U.S. Highway 20, and several hundred miles of other state
highways.
